I once ate 16 Pancakes in one sitting
Her be goblins… but also videos I’ve had a hand in
Nationally aired, locally beloved. That last part is based solely on the responses from my family and friends. Everyone’s a Lobo woof, woof, hoooowwwllll. Sorry, I just turned into a werewolf right there. I was told I wasn’t allowed to have dialogue (??) in this.
Roles:
Writer, director, and editor
Awards:
Silver Communicator Award from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts
Merit Award in the 10th annual Service Industry Advertising Awards
Merit Award in the Higher Ed Marketing Report Awards
I have no idea how prestigious any of those organizations are — but I never question awards handed to me
As Marketing Intern, I was given a variety of roles. From writing radio ads, making sponsor videos, to making this PSA which aired locally. I was given the budget of… zero dollars for this one. A common theme for most of these. Thanks to my friends who went out of their way to volunteer and help me with this video.
Roles: Writer, director, editor, producer
Freelance work for Animal Humane New Mexico. I never pass up the opportunity to hang out with cats and dogs so this was a real… treat.
Roles: Director, Editor
I would be given a static print ad we did every month for a client, combine that with a radio ad, and then I would animate it. The TAT on these was usually pretty tight, typically 2-3 days. Here are a few of those in one video. It’s not my specialty but I can do it!
Roles: Animator, Director, Editor
This man is dirty!
Roles: Writer, director, editor, producer, actor, man who just wanted an excuse to eat cereal with his hands
The last hurrah. I’m sure I’ll never do another 48 Hour Film Project. I’m out and they won’t pull me back in again.
Logline: A broken down duo meets a breaking down couple, in the middle of nowhere. The Town meets The Break-Up
Roles: Director and writer
Awards: Best Acting Ensemble, Best Use of Prop, Best Graphics, Honorable Mention Writing, Best Original Song, and Audience Award
Short film created for the Four Points Film Project, a 72 hour film competition. That’s right, gave myself an extra 24 hours for this one. Made in conjunction with Faulty Trail Productions
Logline:
A book club is rocked by accusations of dishonesty. Game Night meets too many Congo references
Roles: Writer and director
Another 48. My last one. Maybe.
Logline:
A man shows up dead. A grizzled veteran of the force takes on the case with his literal grizzled partner. Alien Nation meets Chinatown (please don’t take any of these comparisons seriously)
Roles:
Director, writer, producer, actor (didn’t take my shirt off! Did rock a deep V tho)
Awards:
Graphics, audience
A short film for the Albuquerque 48 Hour Film Project. I did a lot of these because I am nothing if not a glutton for punishment. This was written and put together in 48 hours. It and the others like it will probably haunt me for 48 years.
Logline:
A pair of friends wake up in a park after a night of partying. There’s a map on one they don’t remember getting. Memento meets National Treasure.
Roles:
Writer, producer, reluctant actor (a recurring theme. Another recurring joke is me always taking my shirt off even though I look like a high school cross country runner only with more body hair and less abs. I’m deeply sorry).
Awards:
Audience award, best graphics, sexiest use of prop (sigh), the hearts and souls of everyone who has seen it
Another short film for the 48 Hour Film Project. I don’t know why I kept doing them.
Logline:
As they say, where there’s a will, there’s a recently deceased person’s family band fighting over the scraps. The Partridge Family meets August: Osage County
Roles:
Director, writer, producer, actor who takes their shirt off (was so close to not being in this one!)
Awards:
Best graphics, best choreography
I’m working on another but here’s the one I had the pleasure of doing with a local band.
Roles:
Director, Editor
